Aboriginal art print ‘Gatherings’ flower bow – azalea
$12.95
This design only comes as a clip (no hair tie) but is beautiful as a flower behind the ear, or to finish off a pony tail or plait.
‘Gatherings’ is an original commissioned artwork, exclusive to SallyAnna.
From the artist: ‘Gatherings’ is the story of our females, young and old. The pink and purple represent our strong females, the ꓵ shapes that are sitting outside each circle or oval shape are our women gathering and sharing stories. The larger gatherings are our old women with the young girls sharing culture. The oval shape is two women sitting with a coolamon as they gather foods. Each gathering is significant to an older woman’s and young girl’s life. They shape the young girl into a woman and give her strength to move into womanhood.
